While competing in a league soccer game, Chris died when he was hit directly in the chest with a soccer ball. Chris was an active, healthy 18 year old student working toward a degree in Kinesiology. You have heard about sudden death as a result of a blow to the chest but can't recall the name of the condition. Before meeting with Chris' parents you would like to search the literature to find out more about it.
